It's all to raise money for The Dom Pardey Trust, established to help my good friend Dom in his recovery from a tragic stroke he suffered on Christmas Eve 2005.
At University, Dom was one of the most fun-loving and charming people to be around. We played golf on the University team together and share some great memories.
He was both the life and soul of the party and a good friend. His stroke was a truly awful piece of bad fortune.
Dom's a fighter, though, and he's reacted brilliantly to this life-changing incident. It would, I'm sure, have broken a lesser soul. His ongoing treatment and costs of living are high and the trust has been successful in paying for many of the items he needs to improve his quality of life. So far it has funded a state-of-the-art wheelchair and a motorbility van so that Dom can make trips out.
I've got a mental target of raising £1500, so please donate what you can by clicking on the PAYPAL BUTTON below.Click Below to donate securely via Paypal:
Thanks in advance
P.S. Supporters on the day are more than welcome, I'm not expecting too many, but a dozen or so with flags and plates of orange segments would do just fine! Email me for the details!
