Fat busting Apple Cider Vinegar & Mustard Dressing

Proven to lower hunger, apple cider vinegar has a long history as a weight loss enhancer. Combine it with metabolism boosting mustard in one of the following dressings (vinaigrette or sour cream based) and enjoy!

Dressings and mayonnaise are hugely high in calories and generally bad news for your weight loss attempts, so replace them with something that actually does you some good. Here’s how:

For the creamy dressing:

You will need:

1⁄4 cup - Apple juice
2 tablespoon - Chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoon - Finely shredded apple
3 tablespoon - Light sour cream
3 tablespoon - Water
2 tablespoon - Apple Cider vinegar
1 tablespoon - Dijon mustard
1⁄4 teaspoon - Salt
Pepper to taste

Directions:
Simply mix all ingredients with fork or wire whisk. It couldn’t be easier!


For the vinaigrette dressing:

You will need:

1/3 cup - extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup - raw apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoon - mustard paste
1⁄2 teaspoon - dried oregano
1 clove garlic – crushed and minced
Sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Directions:
In a small bowl whisk together the apple cider vinegar, mustard, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Add oil slowly and whisk to emulsify.
